A VOICE OF HOPE IN THE VATICAN: REHABILITATION AND RECOVERY
Recognition of the mission at the highest level
In February 2026, our partner visited the Vatican as part of the official Ukrainian state delegation. This event served as recognition of the transparency and effectiveness of our work in rehabilitating Ukrainian defenders.
The main aim of our participation as part of the delegation was to present the comprehensive rehabilitation programme for war veterans in the Czech Republic. It was important for us to convey to the international community that a hero’s recovery is not just about medicine, but also about restoring faith in life and the future.

Although the delegation’s agenda included complex issues such as the search for missing persons and the release of those wrongfully convicted, our foundation focused on providing practical assistance to veterans:
- Rehabilitation in the Czech Republic: A presentation of the treatment outcomes for Ukrainian defenders at European centres.
- Sport as therapy: A discussion on the importance of adaptive sport and our veterans’ participation in international competitions.
- International solidarity: Drawing the Holy See’s attention to the needs of those who have sacrificed their health in the defence of peace.
