A group of our veterans travelled to Teplice (Czech Republic) for rehabilitation
When the first group of our veterans arrived in Teplice (Czech Republic) for rehabilitation, the trip proved to be not only a step towards recovery, but also a significant experience of support and international solidarity.
During their visit, our veterans gave interviews to the Czech press and met with the deputy mayor of Teplice. It was a very warm and heartfelt conversation, during which they spoke about their journey to recovery, their impressions of the town, and the support they had received.
Teplice has a population of around 50,000, of whom approximately 3,000 are Ukrainian. Our veterans were particularly impressed by the support and friendliness of the local community.
We are deeply grateful to the town of Teplice and to everyone who helped ensure that Ukrainian defenders felt cared for and supported during their rehabilitation.
